A Level 2 ASP (Accredited & Authorised Service Provider) is an advanced training and certification that will allow electricians to perform different types and more complex jobs. It is provided by Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy under the mandate of the Electricity Supply Act of 1995. The certification allows electricians who completed the training to work on live electrical systems like disconnecting and reconnecting service lines at the point of attachment, working on underground service conductors and working on network service equipment like service protection devices and fuses.

Vulcanised Indian Rubber (VIR) cables were the standard for consumer mains but have since been phased out as they are hazardous and can cause electrocution, electrical short circuits and even electrical fires. In projects like this, we recommend that our customers upgrade their consumer mains to Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) consumer mains. It is a modern version of supply cables that offer stronger insulation, and increased tensile strength, elongation and impact resistance.
