Today was the first time I have used "The Local Electrician" company. Nick came out yesterday to give us a quote and today they came out to complete the jobWhat an amazing team who worked so well together and completed the job without any hassle. We had a complete switchboard upgrade, new sub board enclosure, surge protector, new 13 circuit with individual switch circuit breakers and a Tesla EV connector with added isolation switch installed.My Power Switch box was an absolute mess with wires everywhere. Many thanks to The Local Electrician team who were all courteous, considerate and competent sparkies. Working in teams of two over 3 consecutive days they solved problems, installed new meters and re-cabled much of our double storey, double brick home in Earlwood. Built in 1939 it provided challenges but the team remained unfazed and got the job done with a smile and pats for our dogs. Special thanks to Dylan, Nick, John and Justin for leading the way. My mother had no power throughout half her house last week and was in need of an electrician. She called the local electrician, and Dylan came out and found the fault within minutes, leaving my mother very pleased. They pointed out some safety issues at the switchboard and even asked to call a family member to discuss the findings and walk through some suggested solutions. My mother hasn't been doing too well lately, and I really appreciate that they called me to discuss the options. These guys are the best.!We has a fuse fail and needed quick help. We called three companies for their advertised emergency service - two didn’t answer and one said he had no one availableThese guys answered out of hours on a Sunday and had Nick arrive first thing in the morning to patch the connection and a then team led by Reggie returned the next morning to replace the board causing the fault all within a couple of hours and in the rain and a great fair price for the hustle and expertise.Can’t beat the service and the reliability.Thanks againRich

A Highly Qualified Level 2 ASP Electrician in Regents Park
We believe that having the right set of qualifications makes a significant difference when fixing or installing any electrical component. At The Local Electrician, all of our level two electricians are licensed and insured per the requirements set by NSW Fair Trading. Each of them has undergone the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician course and apprenticeship. Having met these requirements means that they have the necessary knowledge and experience in attending to any kind of electrical issue. In addition to being licensed, all of our team members are Level 2 ASP qualified professionals. The Accredited Service Provider (ASP) program accredits organisations to do contestable work on the NSW electrical distribution network. This additional qualification allows a Level 2 ASP Electrician to work directly with pieces of equipment connected to a live electrical network.
Consumer Mains
Dealing with the building’s consumer main requires working with an experienced and trained L2 electrician. Also known as the supply cable, this piece of equipment provides power throughout the whole building. The common concern with consumer mains is the continued use of old and outdated Vulcanised Indian Rubber (VIR) cables. Not only are these cables no longer capable of handling modern energy demands, but they also pose a threat to human health. Our electrical level 2 team recommends upgrading to the Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) consumer mains. It offers stronger insulation, increased elongation and impact resistance and improved cut-through resistance.
Overhead Power Cables
Overhead power lines are popular across Sydney. While there is no clear answer as to whether it is better than an underground cable, these are preferred by property owners and recommended by level two electricians due to their cost and the ease of installation and repair. Today was the first time I have used "The Local Electrician" company. Nick came out yesterday to give us a quote and today they came out to complete the jobWhat an amazing team who worked so well together and completed the job without any hassle. We had a complete switchboard upgrade, new sub board enclosure, surge protector, new 13 circuit with individual switch circuit breakers and a Tesla EV connector with added isolation switch installed.My Power Switch box was an absolute mess with wires everywhere.
