Certified Level 2 ASP Electrician in Ryde

A Level 2 ASP certification allows electricians in NSW to work directly with a piece of equipment that’s connected to the main electricity source in the street. The certification is obtained by licensed and insured electricians to expand their portfolio of services. NSW Fair Trading requires these electricians to first have their license by completing the required training and experience. These requirements ensure that each electrician in the state is capable of working per the Gas and Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2017 and the Gas and Electricity (Consumer Safety) Regulation 2018

Electrical Switchboards

Replacing old electrical switchboards is one of the most common requests we receive from customers who are living in an old apartment or occupying an old commercial building. Their motivation to upgrade to a new switchboard either stems from receiving an electrical defect notice or wanting to have a piece of reliable equipment that can handle the heavy electricity demand from occupants of the building. Our level two electricians can help with the 3 phase switchboard upgrade in these properties. This new version of the electrical switchboard is best for homes or businesses with heavy electricity usage and wants a stable flow of energy that never drops to zero. It is also highly recommended compared to old switchboards that still use asbestos that can harm the health of those using the building.

Point of Attachment

The point of attachment may be the least visible and known part of the building’s electrical system. This equipment is usually found on the edge of a house’s roof and connects the overhead power line from the street or a private power pole to the building. Apart from electrical switchboards, point of attachment defects is also common in an electrical defect notice. A missing or defective piece of equipment or an improperly installed overhead power line are common defects with points of attachment. Our level 2 electrical contractors have the right knowledge and experience to easily detect the cause of the trouble and have it fixed within minutes.

Electrical Defect Notice

Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy conduct an inspection to check for the integrity of equipment in their customers’ property. Once an irregularity was found, the issue an electrical defect notice to make the property owner aware of the needed repair and/or replacements to continue enjoying their service. Our L2 electricians are capable of dealing with everything listed in this notice. With our fast response, we can have everything repaired without waiting for the deadline of the 21-day allowance provided for things to be fixed.
